Understanding accounting sync, record links, statuses, and reauthorization

Accounting integrations connect supported Constructable records to QuickBooks Online or Sage Intacct.

Each supported sync flow has its own direction, start date, and create/update/delete behavior. Connecting an account does not mean every financial record will sync both ways.

Constructable preserves a link between the local and accounting records. Common statuses include:

• Pending
• Linked
• Synced
• Suppressed
• Error
• Retired
• Unlinked

An Auth Error means authorization must be renewed before fetch or sync can continue. Do not disconnect, recreate records, or manually duplicate transactions until the existing links have been reviewed.
