Why use Constructable for financials?

Real-time visibility

Automated processes

Retention, approvals, and syncing happen behind the scenes

Commitments

Your contracts and purchase orders, organized and connected.

• Manage prime contracts and owner invoicing with ease

• Create subcontractor or vendor commitments with scopes of work, costs, and retention

• Invoices and change orders are automatically linked to commitments

A screenshot of Constructable's commitments feature, showing a list of all of the project's commitments with their details, including the vendor or subcontractor name, commitment type, description, amount, and overall progress based on the invoices that have been submitted and approved. Constructable supports prime contracts, subcontractor commitments, and vendor purchase orders, and allows users to create, edit, and delete commitments, and upload all necessary documents and attachments for each one.

Change Orders and Contracts

Add change orders with line items, cost codes, and schedule impacts

A screenshot of Constructable's change orders feature, showing a set of line items being edited with their details, including the cost code, cost type, sub-project, description, amount, and retention rate. There are also two buttons at the bottom of the screenshot. The first button allows users to automatically calculate and add additional fee and insurance line items to the change order, and the second button will automatically copy all of the line items from a vendor change order to a prime change order. This is a highly useful feature designed to eliminate double-entry of line items and reduce errors since often vendor change order line items (which are on the expense side of the project budget) are also applicable to prime change orders (which are on the revenue side of the budget).

Automatic e-Signing built right in with clear status tracking

A screenshot of Constructable's built-in eSigning feature showing the simple, clear interface that the project's owner sees when eSigning a prime change order. There are fields for the owner to enter their name and draw or upload their signature, and a button to proceed to the next eSigning field.

Continuous commitments and budget updates when executed

A screenshot of a prime change order in Constructable, showing the current eSigning status for each recipient, and the current status of the change order reads 'Ready to Countersign'. There is a button that will send a reminder email to recipients who have not yet signed the change order, and the date and time of the recipient who has signed already is shown next to their name. The original contract amount, Net change by previously executed change orders, Contract amount (including previously executed change orders), the Net amount this change order would add to the contract, and the contract amoubnt including this new change order is shown at the bottom of the screenshot, giving users a clear and comprehensive overview of the change order's impact on the project's financials.

Budgeting and Financials

Cash(flow) is king. Always know where you stand.

Billing made simple

• Subcontractors submit invoices linked to the correct SOV line items

• Automatic retention calculations and releases

• Syncs with QuickBooks for accounting and payment processing

• Go full screen when writing up lengthy owner invoices

A screenshot of Constructable's invoicing feature, showing an invoice for the September billing period from a concrete subcontractor. All of the invoice details, including the invoice number, amount, due date, status, and the invoice date are clearly shown. The screenshot shows a table view of the relevant line items being billed against (shown in bold text for easy visibility among many other line items not currently being billed against), with their original amount, invoiced amount, amount due, and amount invoiced to date. The total invoice amount, retainage held, and the current amount due are shown at the bottom of the table, along with the overall commitment progress percentage. The user has uploaded a PDF attachment of the original vendor invoice for reference, and an activity log section shows the record of all of the actions that have been taken on the invoice, such as the invoice being created, approved, and paid.
