A screenshot of Constructable's drawing viewer in RFI mode, showing a drawing sheet with an area selected and labeled as related to a specific RFI. The full RFI content is shown in a sheet overlay on the right side of the screenshot, which includes the name, description, and respondents. An official response is shown with its name, response, and the date it was submitted. There is also some markup associated with the specific RFI and users can quickly navigate between other marked-up sheets or RFI comments, all of which are pinned directly on the drawing sheet for easy reference and discussion.

Submittals made easy

Because waiting on approvals shouldn’t stall your project’s critical path

• Multi-stage workflows with due dates and role assignments

• Clear status tracking—always know who owes the next response

• Revision control keeps the latest package front and center

• Automated approval sequencing saves time by choosing the right approvers for you

A screenshot of Constructable's Submittals feature, showing a submittal with a multi-stage workflow. The submittal has a due date, assignee, status, and a list of documents. The submittal has a multi-stage workflow, with the first stage being the submittal itself, the second stage being the submittal approval, and the third stage being the submittal rejection. The submittal has a clear status tracking, with the status being shown in a badge at the top of the submittal. The submittal has revision control, with the latest version of the submittal being shown at the top of the submittal. The first stage of the submittal approval workflow has been completed and the submittal document was approved by the first approver, and their approval note is shown. The approver also uploaded their stamped version of the submittal document as part of their approval, and the submittal manager can click the link to view the attached document. Once the submittal document has been approved, the submittal manager can distribute the submittal to the submittal's subscribers for easy access and review.

Submittal Pre-Check

Speed up review with automated comparison of submitted documents to your specs

• Catch potential issues before involving your consultants and save them review time

• Line-by-line comparison of product detail sheets to your project’s specs

• Easily verify pre-check results with visual highlights of the text from your documents

A screenshot of Constructable's Submittal Pre-Check feature, which shows a line-by-line comparison of the responsible contractor's uploaded product detail sheet to the project's specifications. The screenshot shows a clear table view of the comparison, which is performed automatically by AI, with the project's specs on the left and the product detail sheet's comparison results on the right. The results indicate whether the uploaded document has an exact match to the required specification item, a mismatch, or needs further manual review. Users can click a specification item to view the actual line-by-line comparison between the two documents, highlighting the corresponding line in the project's specs and the product detail sheet, making it easy to see the exact match or mismatch between the two. This feature is highly useful for quickly and autonomously verifying the accuracy of the submittal document against the project's specs, saving consultants and submittal managers lots of review time and reducing the risk of errors in the project.

Document Management

Drag and drop your files and folders. Easily adjust who has access.

A screenshot of Constructable's Documents feature, showing the Share Folder dialog which allows the user to share a folder with the desired set of users who should have access to the folder. The options include the ability to make the folder private, shared among their internal organization, or shared with all users who have access to the project such as owners, consultants, and subcontractors. USers can also choose specific users to share the folder with if desired.

Find anything fast. Search across titles, items, and even within content.

A screenshot of Constructable's AI document search feature. The user has entered a question that reads 'get me the latest soils report' and the AI document search feature has returned a comprehensive answer with details about the latest soils report documents that match the search term, and a link to the PDF document itself, making it extremely easy for the user to go to the exact document they were looking for instead of having to manually navigate through all of the folders. This feature is designed to be a very powerful and accurate tool for quickly finding the exact documents that the user is looking for, and it's powered by AI, so it's able to understand the full context of the project and the documents to return the most relevant results.

Specs for all

Specifications, simplified.

• Automatically organized by CSI MasterFormat divisions and sections

• Import existing spec books with automatic revision tracking

• Directly tie specs to your submittals for accurate references and reporting

A screenshot of Constructable's Specs (Specifications) feature, showing a table of contents of all of the project's specifications organized by CSI MasterFormat divisions and sections. The screenshot shows the first page from the original project spec book for structural steel framing specifications. The page has a search bar at the top for filtering the specifications by name, division, section, making it easy for users to navigate to the exact specification they are looking for.

Unclog your inbox

Smart Notifications

Most platforms flood your team with email notifications—so many that people stop reading them. We took a different approach.

Notifications are bundled for email sanity

All links take you straight to the drawing, RFI, or submittal for easy access
A screenshot showing a Constructable user's email inbox, with the most recent Constructable notification email selected. This email clearly and concisely shows a bundled list of all of the user's most recent unread notifications in a single email, making it extremely easy for the user to review all of their notifications at once instead of clogging up their inbox with one email per notification like other competing construction project management software platforms tend to do. Each notification is clearly labeled with the type of notification, the content of the notification (such as the name of the user who added a comment or markup to a drawing sheet, a consultant's new response to an RFI, or a submittal being distributed), the project it's related to, and the date and time that the notification occurred. Each notification has a deep link that takes the user directly to the item in the Constructable app for easy, direct access to whichever item they want to review.

Fully customizable preferences

Users can set notification preferences by project, by item type, or by item
A screenshot of Constructable's notification preferences dropdown menu, showing that users have the ability to override the default notification settings for a given item like a submittal or RFI, so that they can receive more or less notifications for that item, if desired. Constructable lets users set notification preferences at the user level (across all their projects), which can then be further overridden at the project level or even specific item level. Users can also set the frequency of the notification email, which can be once a day, twice a day, or three times a day, to help reduce notification fatigue and make it easier to stay on top of all of the project's notifications without getting overwhelmed.

Meetings that empower your teams

Keep everyone aligned and moving forward with meeting minutes that capture the full context

• Create meeting agendas with sections, items, and sub-items that can be easily shared with your team

• Schedule and run meetings right from your software, then take notes in real time

Smart sections for RFIs and Submittals automatically pull in the latest open items

A screenshot of Constructable's Meetings feature, showing a meeting agenda with all pertinent meeting information at the top, a list of the meeting's attendees, and a full agenda with many sections. The screenshot shows the Open RFIs smart section has been added to the agenda. This smart section contains a real-time list of the currently open RFIs for the project, making it easy for meeting attendees to discuss them during the meeting without having to manually add each one to the agenda. A smart section for open Submittals can also be added if desired. Users ca of course add more sections and manually add as many items or sub-items as they want to each section. They have options to add bullet points, take notes during the meeting, and assignments to each item.

Inspections that keep delivery of quality product at the forefront

Create, schedule, and run all safety/QA/QC checks

A screenshot of Constructable's Inspections feature, showing a card view of all of the project's past, present, and upcoming inspections. Each card shows the inspection name, status, relevant tags, and the date it occured, or if it hasn't happened yet, the date itwas created. Completed inspections also show the pass rate of all items, the total number of items inspected, the number of items that passed or failed, and any tasks or action items that were created as a result of the inspection. Users can quickly navigate to the inspection's details by clicking the 'view inspection' button on the card, and can also add or edit inspections as needed.

Fast, easy data capture your field teams will love

A photograph showing Constructable's Inspections feature being used at a construction site. In the foreground, we see a tablet that has Constructable open to an inspection and some items have been marked as passed as the inspection is still being performed. There are buttons for each inspection item to mark them as pass, fail, or not applicable. There are also buttons to quickly add notes when needed, or even create action items. As the inspection is performed, the tablet is showing a real-time list of the inspection items that have been completed, along with the pass rate of the inspection overall.
“The transition to Constructable was very smooth. The tools are so user friendly that our team and our trade partners were up and running in no time. They’re quick to respond and add feature requests as we make them.”
