A subcontractor invoice records progress against one Commitment SOV for one Billing Period.

To create and submit:

  1. Open the Commitment or the Subcontractors invoice view.
  2. Choose the applicable Billing Period.
  3. Create the invoice.
  4. Enter work completed, materials stored where enabled, and retainage.
  5. Add an optional Invoice number and confirm the invoiced date.
  6. Upload required attachments and lien waiver documents.
  7. Review the amount due.
  8. Select Submit Invoice.

Constructable assigns an Application number per Commitment. The optional Invoice № is the vendor's reference number.

An invoice cannot skip unresolved earlier billing. Prior invoices generally must be approved, and creating an invoice in a non-current Billing Period requires special permission.

In the recurring example, the concrete subcontractor bills current foundations progress against the foundations SOV line, not against the full Commitment as one undifferentiated amount.

If creation is blocked, use An invoice cannot be created.
