A screenshot of Constructable's bid management feature, one of its preconstruction tools, showing a comprehensivetable view of bids received from subcontractors with each of their details, including the package name, assigned scopes, received dates, bidding contacts, and total bid amounts across all scopes. Users can easily view the details of each bid, such as the bid amount, the scope of work, the deadline, and the bidder's contact information. Users can group bids by scopes and/or trades, and bids can be sorted by any of the columns in the table. Bulk actions can also be performed on bids, such as sending emails to all bidders, sending reminder emails, updating bid statuses, and much more.

Bid Management

A screenshot of the special landing page that bidders see when they access Constructable to bid on a project. Bidders can easily indicate their intention to bid or not to bid, view or download all of the project's drawing sheets, view or download all of the project's documents, and even submit their bid directly on the landing page. Bidders can add specific bid amounts for each scope of work. The landing page also includes all relevant contact information for the project, the bid due date, a description of the project, and the full written bidding instructions.

Takeoffs

Measure directly on drawings: use linear feet, area, or quantity markers

A screenshot of Constructable's takeoffs feature, showing a drawing sheet of a floorplan with a full set of takeoff measurements added for walls, flooring, balconies, and plumbing fixtures. Measurements are made using linear feet, areas, and quantities which mark each item to be counted. The image is quite detailed and colorful since each different takeoff item's measurements have their own unique colors.

Organize takeoffs by category with color-coded clarity

A screenshot of Constructable's takeoffs feature, showing the dialog that users see when they want to add a new takeoff item to a takeoff category. The dialog shows a form with fields for the item name, unit of measurement (linear feet, area, or quantity marker), unit cost, and color selection.

Apply unit costs and multipliers for instant pricing insight, with one-click export

A screenshot of Constructable's takeoffs feature, showing the sidebar area where users can view takeoff items organized by category. Each takeoff item is color-coded to make it easy to identify and track the different items, and each takeoff item has summary totals for measurements across the currently active drawing, all drawings in the project, and the total overall estimated cost for that item. There is also a dropdown menu in the screenshot, showing additional options that the user can perform on the takeoff items, such as exporting all of the takeoff data to a spreadsheet, adding a new takeoff item, hiding or showing the takeoff legend, along with sharing options for the takeoff set.

Directory Management

Every contact organized from day one

• Centralized directory of subcontractors, consultants, and owners

• Contact history logs every invitation, bid, and response

• Permissions ensure the right people only see the right info

• Auto-detection of duplicate contacts at the global directory level

The table shows the name of the contact, their role, their email address, their phone number, and their company name. The table is sorted by the contact's name in descending order, and the table has a search bar at the top for filtering the contacts by name, role, email, phone number, and company name.
"I love that I can comment or create takeoffs right on the plans and ask our design partners clarifying questions right in context. Plus, managing bid scopes is so easy and we've gotten more accurate bids as a result."
