Contract status shows where a Commitment or Prime Contract is in its document lifecycle.

Best for: Contract administrators, signers, and approvers · Requires: Contract and document-signing access.

The standard flow is:

  1. Complete the Draft contract and SOV.
  2. Select Prepare for Esigning.
  3. Configure the document and signer fields.
  4. Confirm and send it for signing.
  5. If approvers are configured, track Awaiting Approval while they review in order.
  6. Track Out for Signing and Ready to Countersign.
  7. Complete countersigning to reach Fully Executed.

Commitments can also be Under Revision or Void. Insurance information may be required from a signer when configured.

Once executed, edits can require Edit after executed permission. If e-signature controls the record status, direct status changes may be unavailable.
