Permissions, package, and platform availability

Submittals require the Project Management package and View submittals access.

Key permissions are:

• Create draft submittals: Create and edit your own Draft.
• Create new submittals, make changes to existing submittals, distribute and redistribute: Manage the complete workflow.
• Respond to submittals: Respond when you are an approver on the current stage.
• Respond to submittals as another person: Administrative response on behalf of another approver.
• Delete draft submittals and Delete submittals: Separate deletion permissions.

Restricted read access shows non-draft submittals plus drafts created by the user's company. Core viewing and response actions are available in web and native layouts. Use desktop web for project settings, approval-template administration, broad bulk editing, and detailed document review.
