Configuring submittal settings and templates

Best for: Project administrators · Requires: Submittal write access.

Open Submittals, then the settings action. Project settings can include:

• Default submittal manager
• Submittal numbering options
• Revision display choices, including numeric or lettered revision labels
• Approval templates

In Submittal Approval Templates, create repeatable stages and approvers for common review chains. On a Draft submittal, select Apply Template. If stages already exist, Change Template removes them and replaces them with the template's stages. Clear Template removes existing approval stages. Do not replace a template after responses begin; the control is disabled to preserve review history.
