Delete inspection content

Delete at the item or section level when possible; delete the whole inspection only when the record should leave active use.

Best for: Inspection managers · Requires: Inspection write access.

• Delete an item to remove one checklist check.
• Delete a section to remove that section and its active items.
• Choose Delete Inspection from the action menu to remove the full record.

Before deleting, review observations and attachments that may be needed for project history. Use rename or structure editing for mistakes that do not require removal. Duplicate before making substantial changes when the existing record must be preserved as a reference.
