Create, import, or duplicate an inspection

Choose the method that preserves the right amount of structure without carrying stale evidence.

Best for: Inspection managers · Requires: Draft access; write access for broader changes.

Create a draft

1. Open Inspections.
2. Select Draft Inspection.
3. Enter a title and overview details.
4. Save the draft.

Import structures from another project

1. Open the create menu.
2. Choose Import Inspection Structure.
3. Select the source project.
4. Select Import.

Constructable copies every inspection as a new draft, including sections and item structure. Observations and attachments are excluded.

Duplicate one inspection

Open an inspection's action menu and choose Duplicate Inspection. Review the new copy's title, date, inspector, item results, and attachments before using it as the next occurrence.
