Use the least destructive action that matches the correction.

Project TeamDesktop WebVerified July 24, 2026

Use the least destructive action that matches the correction.

Best for: Specification managers · Requires: Specs management access.

  • Edit when a division, section, title, or boundary is wrong.
  • Unpublish Spec Book when its sections should stop contributing to the current viewer but the imported book should remain available for review.
  • Delete Spec Book when the imported record should be removed from active use.
  • Import and publish a newer book when issuing a replacement that should become the current specification reference.

Unpublishing can make sections disappear if no other published book supplies them. Deleting can also remove source pages used by the current structure. Confirm the normal Specs view after either action.
