Import, review, and publish a spec book

Import a PDF, verify its structure, then publish only after the page boundaries are reliable.

Best for: Specification managers · Requires: Specs management access.

1. Open Specs and select Manage Spec Books.
2. Select Import Spec Book.
3. Add one or more source files and select Upload.
4. Open the imported book marked for review.
5. Check division names, section numbers and titles, and the first page assigned to each section.
6. Add, rename, reorder, or delete divisions and sections as needed.
7. Select Publish Spec Book.

Publishing changes visibility, not the underlying source PDF. Open the normal Specs page after publication and spot-check several sections.
