Reopening, changing status, and deleting
The delete confirmation states that deletion cannot be undone. Draft and active RFIs use separate delete permissions. Preserve a closed record when it documents project direction; reopen and correct it instead of deleting history.

Best for: RFI administrators · Requires: RFI write access; deletion has separate permissions.
- Reopen RFI returns a Closed RFI to Open.
- Move to Draft, Move to Open, and Move to Closed provide direct status controls for permitted users. Moving to Draft removes the active number; reopening through Reopen RFI is clearer when work is resuming.
- Rename RFI changes the subject while the record is editable.
- Delete RFI changes the record to Cancelled and removes it from normal use.
