Accept your invitation and sign in for the first time
You don't create a Constructable account on your own — someone on the project adds you, and we email you an invitation. Accepting it takes about a minute, and if the email never showed up, there's a way in that doesn't need it.
You don't create a Constructable account on your own — someone on the project adds you, and we email you an invitation. Accepting it takes about a minute, and if the email never showed up, there's a way in that doesn't need it.
Look for an email with the subject Join the project "Project Name" from Company Name. If you were added to the organization rather than a specific project, the subject reads Join Company Name on Constructable instead.
- Open the invitation email.
- Select Accept Invitation.
- On the Welcome! Let's set up your account. page, choose a password.
- Select Register my account and sign in.
That's it — you land in the project you were invited to.
Note: Invitations expire after seven days. An expired link isn't a dead end, though; see below.
If the invitation is missing or expired
You don't need a fresh invitation. Because your account already exists the moment someone adds you, the password-reset flow will get you in:
- Go to the sign-in page and select Forgot your password?.
- Enter the exact email address you were invited with.
- Select Send password reset email.
- Open the email, choose a password, and select Save new password and sign in.
If you're not sure which address was used — work email versus personal, or an old company domain — ask your project manager or an Admin to check the Project Team before you keep retrying.
Why didn't I get an invitation email?
Check spam and quarantine first. If it's genuinely absent, your mail server may be filtering us; ask your IT contact to allow Constructable mail, and use the forgot-password route above in the meantime.
Can I use a different email than the one I was invited with?
Sign in with the invited address first, then change it under My Account. See Change your email address.
