Delete photos or an album

Delete only after deciding whether you mean individual media or the whole collection.

Best for: Photo managers · Requires: Photos write access and ability to modify the album.

Delete selected photos

1. Open the album.
2. Enter selection mode.
3. Select the media.
4. Choose Delete and confirm.

Delete an album

Open the album menu, choose Delete, and confirm. Deleting an album also deletes every photo in that album. This action cannot be undone from the Photos interface.

Download a retention copy first when required. If the album title is wrong, edit it. If media belongs elsewhere, move it rather than deleting the album.
