Understand permissions, packages, and visibility

Closeout uses two permission layers: access to Closeout itself and access to each source section.

Best for: Project and organization administrators.

• View closeout packages allows a user to see generated package records and download completed packages.
• Generate closeout packages allows a user to start generation.
• Each selectable section requires its own read permission.
• Package-enabled features appear only when the organization has that package.

By default, administrators and managers can view and generate Closeout packages. Other roles need explicit permission. A user's source permissions determine the chooser, so two managers with different permissions may see different section lists.

The generated ZIP can be distributed outside Constructable. Once downloaded, Constructable permissions no longer control copies of that file. Review it before sharing.
