The 60-second people model

Global Directory company/person → Project Team membership → invitation and project access → active collaboration

• Global Directory contains organization-wide Companies and People.
• A Project Team contains the companies and people participating in one project.
• Adding someone to the Global Directory does not by itself add them to every project.
• Removing someone from one Project Team does not deactivate their organization or company membership.
• Deactivating a directory membership is broader: it makes that membership inactive.
• A role controls permissions. An invitation is an email. Project access determines whether a selected person can enter the project. These are separate decisions.
