  • Organization person: An internal user belonging directly to your organization. Internal roles are based on Admin, Manager, or Employee.
  • Company person: An external user belonging to a company in your Global Directory. External roles are based on Subcontractor, Consultant, Owner, or another eligible custom external role.
  • Project role: The role applied to a person's membership on the current project. Changing a directory company role can also update that person's assignments on active projects.
  • Send Email Invitation: Sends the person a sign-in invitation. For a new directory person, you can review the email before selecting Add and Send.
  • Project access: A Project Team entry can identify someone as part of the team; access controls whether they can enter the project. In the add-people workflow, sending an invitation also grants project access.
