Edit a role cell to enable an action and, when available, select its access level.
Best for: Admins tailoring an existing role · Requires: Manage permissions for all user roles.
- Open Roles and Permissions.
- Find the permission row and role column.
- Open the role cell.
- Turn the permission on or off.
- If an access-level choice appears, select the intended scope.
- Save.
- Review dependent child permissions.
Examples of access-level decisions include All Projects versus Only projects I belong to, all RFIs versus non-draft RFIs and the user's drafts, and all meetings versus only meetings where the user is a participant.
Do not treat a restricted permission as fully disabled. The user can still act within the selected scope.
