Selecting bidders

Use Select Bidders to build the package's bid list from companies in your organization directory.

Best for: Bid managers · Before you begin: Set up company records, bidding contacts, trades, and tags in the directory.

1. Open the package and select Select Bidders.
2. Search, filter, or group companies by company, trade, or tag.
3. Select one or more companies.
4. Select Add Selected to Bid List.
5. Assign scopes when the package uses them.

The page excludes companies already on the package's bid list. Adding a company creates its bid record and uses designated bidding contacts. If the company has no designated bidding contacts, review its company membership setup before sending invitations.

Tags help segment companies across packages; scopes define what this package asks each bidder to price. Do not use tags as a substitute for bid scopes.
